1. What kind of improvement can I expect in my Google AdWords ROI?

We can't say for sure, because every campaign is different. It really depends on how much traffic you get from the content network, how much you're averaging per click, etc. Most advertisers generally see an increase between 50-100%. The "worst" increase we've seen was 28% and the highest was literally over 500%.

Look at it this way ... if you advertise on the Content Network and aren't using our tracker, you are definitely paying for lots of clicks you don't want. Our tracking system will allow you to filter out these unwanted clicks, which reduces your costs for the same level of conversions, so your ROI can only go up.

On the other hand, if you're not currently advertising on the Content Network this tool will allow you to do so with confidence. Your new Content Network ads are practically guaranteed to be profitable, and these new profits will be "found money" to you. This will skyrocket your profits, with little to no risk.

2. Why should I use the entire Content Network vs. just Site Targeting?

The problem with only using Google's Site Targeting feature to target individual sites on the Content Network is that you will NEVER find all the sites that you should be advertising on. Even Google's new "find site" tool will only locate a small fraction of the appropriate sites you should be showing your ads on.

The bottom line is that this will result in reduced profits, unnecessarily.

The smarter way to go about it is to enable the entire Content Network, and use our one-of-a-kind tracking system. This way you can capture ALL of the profitable traffic, while at the same time blocking the unacceptable traffic. You really can have your cake and eat it too.

3. How easy is it to set this up and start using the tracking system?

It's easy. Real easy. All you need to do is add a few lines of javascript code to your landing page(s), and then add one line of code to your "thank you" page(s). These are the confirmation pages users see after taking action at your site - filling out an info request form, making a purchase, downloading a file, etc.

If you're an affiliate, this one-of-a-kind tracking system can even track your conversions at the merchant sites you're promoting. If they are already a registered merchant in our system, you just add a single tracking code to your landing page and that's it! If they aren't registered with us, we'll help you get them registered. If they refuse to participate, our system will track clicks to the merchant site, instead of conversions at their site.

Our code will not affect the look or operation of your pages in any way. The code simply outputs a 1x1 pixel transparent image at the bottom of your pages. If your confirmation pages are secure (i.e. https) that is fine too. Our system can operate in secure mode and will not generate any browser warnings.

4. I'm hesitant to add any code to my site. Can you tell me about it?

There are two parts to conversion tracking - logging the initial visit to your site, and tracking the actual conversion when it occurs. Thus, there are two separate tracking codes involved.

The first tracking code, the "landing page" tracking code, is just a few lines of simple JavaScript code that you will need to insert at the bottom of your landing page. This is the "Destination URL" in your Google AdWords ads - the page that visitors arrive at when they click your ad.

The second tracking code, the "confirmation page" tracking code, is a single line of HTML code that you will need to insert at the bottom of your confirmation page. This is often referred to as a "thank you" page - the page that your users see after completing the action you want them to take.

Of course, if you are an affiliate promoting a registered merchant's website you will not need to worry about the confirmation page tracking code because they have already taken care of that for you.

Conversion tracking with this tool is a completely transparent process. The tracking codes won't affect the look, functionality or load time of your webpages in any way. We guarantee it.

Both codes simply output a 1x1 pixel transparent image, using proper height and width specifications. This ensures that even if our servers were to go offline, it still wouldn't affect your pages in any way.

5. Can I use this even if I'm an affiliate promoting another merchant?

Yes, this one-of-a-kind tracking system can even track your conversions at the merchant sites you're promoting. If they are already a registered merchant in our system, you just add a single tracking code to your landing page and that's it! If they aren't registered with us, we'll help you get them registered.

If the merchant refuses to participate, our system will simply track clicks to the merchant site, instead of conversions at their site. While not quite as accurate as tracking the actual conversions at the merchant site, this backup click tracking mechanism will still provide you with plenty of actionable data.

7. Do I need to give you my Google AdWords username and password?

The short answer is no. Our tracking system is able to do its job without interacting with your Google account in any way. The only reason our system would need access to your account is if it was able to update your excluded sites automatically, which it currently can't because Google's system doesn't allow it at this time.

8. Does this tool access my Google account to update my blocked sites?

Unfortunately not, because Google's system does not currently support this feature. If and when they do make this functionality available through their API, we will immediately implement this feature.

The good news is that it literally takes 2 minutes to update your excluded site list at any time. You simply login to your Google account, click two links, and "paste" the excluded site list that you export from our system. Depending on the activity level of your campaigns, you'll want to do this a few times per week.

9. Do I have to modify any of my Google ads, landing page URLs, etc.?

That is a great question, because as you may or may not know, modifying your ads in any way will "reset" your campaign "history" and usually cause you to be charged higher CPCs for quite awhile. You'll be glad to know that no modifications to your existing ads are required to use our tracking system.

10. How many individual Content Network sites can I exclude at Google?

Our system will track all activity in regards to your campaigns - an unlimited number of content sites, an unlimited number of clicks, and an unlimited number of conversions. Google's system currently allows you to block up to 500 sites per campaign, which we've found is more than enough for 99.9% of advertisers.
